We raise and sell Mini Highland cattle (bulls and heifers) and Mini Donkeys right here at Answered Prayers Ranch. We also offer hatching eggs, Easter basket color eggs, and farm fresh organic eggs from our free-range hens. All of our animals are raised with love in a family farm environment.

Yes! We offer local delivery within 20 miles of the ranch for an additional fee. We also welcome farm pickup — you’re more than welcome to come out to the ranch to meet your new animal and load up yourself. Please contact us to arrange delivery or schedule a pickup time.

To reserve an animal, a deposit is required to hold your spot. For upcoming calves, you can place a deposit through our Animals page. Once your animal is ready, we’ll contact you to arrange full payment and coordinate delivery or pickup. Please use our Contact page to reach out with any questions before purchasing.

Yes! Hatching eggs and Easter basket color eggs are shipped via overnight shipping to ensure freshness and the best possible hatch rates. We sell them in dozens — 12 eggs for $50, plus the cost of overnight shipping. Eggs are carefully packaged to minimize breakage during transit.

Our farm fresh organic eggs are $9 per dozen and available for local pickup at the ranch. We can also include them with a local cattle delivery if you’re within our 20-mile delivery radius. Order through our Animals page and we’ll coordinate a convenient pickup or drop-off time.

Mini Highland cattle are a smaller version of the Scottish Highland breed, known for their long, shaggy coats, gentle temperament, and adorable appearance. They typically stand 36–42 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh between 500–700 lbs at maturity. They are hardy, low-maintenance animals that do well in a variety of climates and are perfect for small farms, hobby farms, or as companion animals.

For distances beyond 20 miles, transport is not included but we are happy to assist coordinate with a trusted livestock hauler. Item descriptionYes, our Mini Highland cattle are registered with the Miniature Highland Cattle Association (MHCA). Registration papers are provided with each animal sold. Registered cattle give buyers confidence in bloodlines, breed standards, and resale value. Please ask us about specific animals for full registration details.
